Hello to all District
19 voters from Tennessee.
My name is Paul Bodenweiser and I am Eric Bodenweiser's older brother. Although
I haven't lived in Sussex County for over 30 years but I have family, friends
and a Godson that live in Sussex
County of which I care
and love dearly. Unfortunately my brother has decided to force a good man into
a primary and it's my intention with these pages to bring to all of you the
truth about my brother and why I support Joe Booth in his bid to remain your Delaware state senator
from the 19th district. If nothing else I know Joe to be a fair and
open minded person that not only has the experience, education, and ability to
work for ALL of the people of his district no matter what their race,
creed or political leanings. My brother is not even close to being the man that
Joe is and I want to help the people of not only the district, county and the
entire state help avoid making a HUGE mistake. Unfortunately my brother doesn't
tell you the WHOLE TRUTH about the person he has become over the years and
hides behind his, unknown to you, deeply religious beliefs. In the many
communications (over 300 now from different individuals) Mr. Joe Booth has been
described as a “stand up guy” and an “honorable and fair man” that works for
all the people. Many other nice things have been written but those two phrases pretty
much sum up the general consensus of Senator Joe Booth.
This web site is my effort and my effort only. Apparently there is word
going around that I’m in cahoots with Senator Joe Booth’s campaign. That is NOT
TRUE. I spoke with Mr. Joe Booth some months ago offered my help and it was
declined. I called him when I was sent a link that read that my brother was
willing to spend as much as $100,000 of his own money to beat Mr. Booth in the
primary. I offered and Mr. Booth declined my help. Honorable man and I
couldn’t blame him. Life is full of choices and he chose not to take me up
on my offer because he wanted only to campaign on the issues. Fair enough for
me! He can’t stop me from doing what I feel needs to be done. I sent Joe a
check for $100 and offered $500 more if he wanted it with no strings attached.
It’s a free country and no one can stop my effort to stop my brother from
buying this primary. Due to the talking heads at the WGMD radio station I’m not
going to, as some have asked, put a link to Senator Joe Booth’s web site on
this page as I do not in any way want to associate my efforts with his
campaign. I think that is enough written
on the subject.
To the firefighters that have communicated with me…TRUST ME…I’ve got
something up my sleeve for that ‘Jerod’ talking head that has denigrated the
importance of what e BRAND NEW PUMPER TRUCK means not only to a Volunteer
Firefighting department but to a county as a whole in responding to other fires
out of their area to help other Volunteer Firefighters. He’s clueless but I’ll
try to clue him in soon enough.
I can only hope the Democrats offer up a candidate in time for the
November election no matter who wins the primary. No candidate anywhere should
go uncontested.
To the person from his church that wrote: WOW…I apologize on behalf of my
family. Your story doesn’t surprise me. He will fade away in time. True colors
always come through! It took over 40 years for me to figure it out. Consider
yourself lucky. Knowing he won’t get your vote(s) is priceless to me.
You’re comments concerning my brother are being shared as a whole right
now. Yes, he can be a BULLY if you don't agree with him or do and think
his way. He’s self centered, self absorbed, ARROGANT and ego that is bigger
than he deserves. Mean, cruel and vindictive are just some of the printable
words and phrases that apply, and yes that’s as of within the last few years as
well as before but the one all around that I like most is the “Church is on
Sunday” and “does he think he’s going to convert me to his religion?” type
comments. YES…I know he can be a real BULLY. If you don’t believe the way he
does you’re obviously wrong in his mind and YES he really can hold a grudge! I
can too but payback has little to do with my effort on this site.
This is NOT a family feud in any way. I was happy with the status
quo until my brother decided he wanted to buy an election. Bad people need
someone to stand up to them.
My challenge to Commander God Squad (that would be my brother): Speak to
your electorate in the way you used to spoke to me! Quote the bible scriptures
while condemning anyone that doesn't live to your expectations. Make your views
public for all to know Commander God Squad. The main reason I'm doing this is
that I feel strongly that ANY voting public anywhere deserves to know the whole
truth about who they are voting for in any election. Make it perfectly clear,
as you did to me when we last spoke in October of 2002 that if you haven't been
'saved' you're not worth the effort. If it takes me standing up to the bully my
brother is from down here in Tennessee…so
be it.
I’m also not posting your messages on this site. Some use profanities in
describing my brother and that’s not useful in getting to the target audience I
want to get to. Some/most want to remain anonymous and I can’t do that either.
I know you fear my brother and his retaliation, and it’s a valid fear, but I’m
doing the best I can from down here in Tennessee.
Your encouraging messages are greatly appreciated and I’ll be doing the best I
can in the weeks to come to help all avoid a major disaster up there in Sussex
County. I could post your videos but it’s NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Trust me…I knew
people didn’t like my brother but this is getting out of control! If you want
to share a story that I can put on the site and you will stand behind it I will
consider putting on this site. Otherwise I simply can’t do it!! Don’t fear my
brother is all I can offer. I don’t because he’s just a bully and always has
been. I learned that in 2002. I have enough to bring about his personal
Armageddon when/if needed.
Personally? Knowing my brother as I do, I’m convinced the following is
why he’s challenging Joe Booth and I wish only that someone out there would
clue me in! I’d bet good money on it that my brother felt entitled to having
the right to run for Joe Booth’s old representative’s seat last June 2009 or
whenever all that happened after the passing of long time Senator Thurman
Adams. I voted for him many years ago and probably more than once! I will
probably never know the answer to that question. Old friends up in DE sent me
links to what was going on and it wasn’t hard for me to put the pieces of the
puzzle together once I read about my brother being willing to buy an
election….but that’s my opinion and I could be wrong but…I DOUBT IT!!
Last but not least. Next week I will be preparing our homes for the Bristol Motor Speedway
Race Weekend. Lots of guests and we’re under contract to provide certain
services. It’s also a LOT OF FUN. My brother
may think it’s a pagan ritual but so be it. You won’t hear much from me next
week and until the homes are back to ‘normal’.
Once again I want to thank ALL
of you that have contacted me with the thanks that you offer for trying to
expose my brother. I understand your desire not to me named for fear of his
retaliation. I also understand and appreciate your information and pictures but
I'm going to be concentrating on the events/issues post his KNOWN TO ME
joining of the God Squad that we know of as of October 2002 (although my mother
made me aware before her passing in June of 2002. I'm working on it and as I
see it I've got just under a month to make it happen. I'm sorry I can't take
your calls, or answer all the emails, and other forms of contact but trust
me...I will get back to you sometime down the road. I never expected this to
work out the way it has and I don't want to be your 'hero'...I'm just trying to
help a good man, VOTE Joe Booth, have a chance to be in the election in
November. Trust me...I'm working on it as best I can from here in Tennessee. Life and
business interests keep me busy enough as it's been for years.
More soon enough folks!! I've got calls to make and business issues to
deal with and an election here tomorrow (Aug 5). Also have to make a page to
satisfy the natives at some silly radio station up there in Delaware. Some hack named 'Puffy" or
'Guffy' on what might be a Jesus freak all talk radio station. I don't
know...I'm too busy running my business interests, loving my wife and having a
